The meeting was interrupted in the center to celebrate Dave Auerbach’s birthday (not shown) with an incredible icecake prepared by LAEV outstanding chef almost “Dr” Ann Finkelstein. In addition some important business was transacted, i.e., several board members were re-elected, and Irma Garcia was newly elected to the board. Dozens of names were suggested to be narrowed down for the organization’s Advisory Board, and a strategic planning retreat will soon be held. I’m looking forward to big accomplishments from BVCLT in 2009, especially the transition of the property underneath the CRSP-owned buildings.
