I thought they were doing sharrows cause they couldn’t find 40miles of the bike plan to implement without requiring EIR.

DOT can do 20 miles in 34 days, which means they can “meet” the mayor’s committment to do 40 miles a year in 2 months. That’s only 2/3 of the time it takes to prepare and have ONE BPIT meeting! Silly knowledgable stakeholders with their “plans” and “meetings”. Don’t they know DOT will care for us? (end:snark)

Despite multiple requests through multiple channels, I haven’t seen any response to the simple question, “why not just implement 20 miles of the bike plan?”
