DOT can do 20 miles in 34 days, which means they can "meet" the mayor's committment to do 40 miles a year in 2 months. That's only 2/3 of the time it takes to prepare and have ONE BPIT meeting! Silly knowledgable stakeholders with their "plans" and "meetings". Don't they know DOT will care for us? (end:snark)

Despite multiple requests through multiple channels, I haven't seen any response to the simple question, "why not just implement 20 miles of the bike plan?"
